George and Annie Drew's collection of papers about the history of Seattle and King County, Washington, 1962-1973.

This collection consists of 14 notebooks with 7 boxed and a one binder that were collected, compiled and written by George Drew and his wife, Annie Drew. During the late 1960's and early 1970's, the Drews researched the history of Washington State. The research turned into a series of notebooks that covered different aspects of Washington State history. This collection concentrates on the history of Seattle WA with photographs of streets and buildings in Seattle. When the Drews did their research, they traveled to the locations and took Eastman Kodacolor photographs of the current location of the historical place they were researching. The collection contain approximately 1245 photographs. The majority of the photographs are color and there are some color postcards in the notebooks with a few maps interspersed within the notebooks.
